Weather or location looks stale
- Open Garmin’s Weather app and confirm its current data.
- Sync Garmin Connect and allow Garmin’s cached weather time to refresh.
- Confirm the watch face has its requested permissions.
- Restart the watch if settings or cached data remain stale.
Garmin may omit the observation-location name. Burnished Sky Ahead then shows an approximate one-decimal coordinate when possible, orGARMIN WEATHER when neither source is usable.
Settings
- AOD ornament: Three-rail, Victory Laurel, Quoted Time, None, or Daily Rotation.
- Weather frame: Faceted Seal, Simple Circle, or None.
- Wake animation: On or Off.
Report a problem
Include the device model, firmware, Burnished Sky Ahead version, expected behavior, visible fallback text, and whether it occurs in active mode, AOD, or both.
Keep public reports private-safe. Do not post precise coordinates, account data, payment details, or private Garmin logs.
